2017 Spring Volunteer Opportunities

Join King County Parks and help improve some of the awesome parks, trails and natural areas within the 28,000 acres of Your Big Backyard! Check out the calendar below for upcoming volunteer events over the next five weeks.

Spring Cleaning - litter to pick up, invasive weeds to remove! And some trails to attend to!

lm

Come volunteer to help improve King County Parks' natural areas, parks and urban forests. Spend some time removing invasive weeds to help newly planted and established native trees and shrubs survive and thrive! Native trees and shrubs improve the area for wildlife and water quality; and the healthier they are, the better for all!

To join an event, please register with the volunteer coordinator listed after each event.

For any questions about the King County Parks Volunteer Program or to inquire about a custom volunteer event for your group, please contact Volunteer Program Manager, Laurie Clinton or via phone at, 206-477-6113.

*Events are Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

*unless otherwise noted
