2016 Fall Volunteer Opportunities
Join King County Parks and help improve some of the awesome parks, trails and natural areas within the 28,000 acres of Your Big Backyard!
Native tree and shrub planting events
Come volunteer to help improve King County Parks' stream corridors and urban forests and join the effort to plant native trees and shrubs! This is a great chance to get dirty and help out our salmon and wildlife, as well as improve air quality. Planting trees is a key component to affecting climate change - be part of the 'growing movement'! There are also invasive weed removal projects and trail projects. Check out the calendar below for upcoming volunteer events over the next five weeks.
To join an event, please register with the volunteer coordinator listed after each event.
