Native tree and shrub planting events

VolPlanting

Come volunteer to help improve King County Parks' stream corridors and urban forests. Spend some time planting native trees and shrubs along our major rivers or in our urban parks. Native trees and shrubs improve the area for wildlife and water quality.

Events are Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Dec. 5: Taylor Mountain Forest (near Hobart/Maple Valley) - Contact Tina Miller, Natural Lands Volunteer Coordinator, at 206-477-6112 or via email.

  • Dec. 5: Fred W. Habenicht Park (Maple Valley) - Contact Lina Rose, Parks Volunteer Coordinator, at 206-491-3269 or via email.
