Important Changes to Permit Center Hours

Effective May 15, 2019, the City of Kent Permit Center will be closed to the public on Wednesdays. Staff will use this uninterrupted time to speed up permit reviews and issue permits more quickly. This one-day-a-week closure will allow the Permit Center staff to provide the highest level of service to our daily customers. 

Our hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will now be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with fee payments accepted until 4:30 p.m. The Permit Center looks forward to providing you with a higher quality of service in the weeks and months to come, and we appreciate your patience during this transition.
