Extended Detour on 80th Avenue NE Due to safety considerations and site conditions, the existing detour on 80th Avenue NE will remain in place through December 2026. The roadway is currently closed to through traffic between NE 192nd Street and NE Bothell Way (SR 522). Local access will still be maintained. Continue to follow the detour routes provided. Thank you for your patience as we work to build a safer corridor with continuous sidewalks, protected bike lanes, safe pedestrian street crossings and reduced travel speeds. Proposition 1 At the June 15 Council meeting, Kenmore City Councilmembers approved placing Proposition 1 on the November 3 ballot. If approved by voters, Proposition 1 would establish a levy lid lift to help fund programs and services related to three priorities: Climate & Environmental Stewardship, Affordable Housing, and Human Services. This is the first Levy Lid Lift (LLL) in City history. This LLL would cost approximately $30/month for the owner of a $1 million home (based on 2026 assed value).
