The City of Kenmore is excited to host the return of 4th of July Fireworks at Log Boom Park! The event kicks off at 7:30 pm with music, food trucks, face painting, games, and crafts, and the fireworks show will begin at 10:00 pm.
Thank you to Frank Lumber, our Presenting Sponsor of the Fourth of July Fireworks show: Frank Lumber has been doing business in the northern area of Seattle for over 60 years. They started out as a local lumber and hardware store, and transitioned to specializing in doors and related products about 30 years ago. They have evolved into what they are today: a leader in the door industry. Frank Lumber has generously supported the Kenmore fireworks show for many years; without Frank Lumber, we would not be able to put on this great show!
King County has embarked on an effort to create a new plan for the Sammamish River, all the way from Lake Sammamish in Redmond through Bothell and Kenmore to Lake Washington. We need your help.
Ecologically, the Sammamish River is not doing well. The good news is that the Sammamish River is not lost, and we can all work together to save it and bring it back to good ecological health. You can make a difference in this effort. Please participate in King County’s online Open House and Survey. The deadline for participating is July 10, which is coming up soon. Read the full press release for more information, and help us spread this news to friends and neighbors.
With the 4th of July approaching, here is a reminder that per Kenmore Municipal Code 8.10, fireworks are illegal within Kenmore city limits. We encourage everyone to celebrate safely this 4th of July. Remember, you can view the fireworks show at Log Boom Park!

In 2022, over 700 Fentanyl overdose deaths occurred in King County (up 550% over the last three years). Tragically, seven of those deaths were right here in Kenmore and the victim's ages ranged from 18 - 39 years old. You can learn more about overdose prevention and response, and find treatment for addiction and harm reduction services on King County's website. If you think someone may be overdosing, call 911 immediately.
