Hydro Happy Hour is this Friday night 6pm at 192 Brewing Co! The 6th Annual Kenmore Hydroplane Cup Opening Ceremony is Saturday, April 6th at 10am! Admission is free and exhibition races are from 12pm to 4pm. Best viewing areas will be the 68th Ave bridge walkway and Squires Landing.
Applications are now being accepted for our next Business Acceleration Series! This unique six-week training and consulting program is limited to 15 Kenmore area small businesses and will start April 17th!
This Walkways and Waterways project to improve public access to the waterfront is moving along! For this project to work, the City needs to use 1.5 acres for the park plaza, restrooms, parking lot, and walkway, which does not meet a historical deed and grant requirement. To do this, we need to purchase comparable land somewhere else in Kenmore and preserve for urban wildlife habitat and passive recreation. The Seattle Flying Dragon Boat Club - Kenmore invites you to participate in a tradition held for centuries in awakening the dragon to open paddling season and bless the boats and paddlers! Join them for dragon boat practice at 10am or just the brief ceremony at 12pm. Brunch potluck will follow!
