After our September 23, 2018 service change, we heard from many of our riders about the impacts of the changes. As always, we appreciate your input; it helps us make adjustments to serve you better. Intercity Transit will add more service and update schedules on five local bus routes effective Dec. 16, 2018. Additional trips will provide more options for customers and schedule changes will improve connections and reduce delays.
Service adjustments include:
Route 12 – One new weekday trip will depart from Labor & Industries at 5:39 a.m. and arrive at the Olympia Transit Center at 6:25 a.m.
Route 13 – Will provide 30-minute frequency on Saturdays between 8:45 a.m. and 7:15 p.m.
Route 62A – Weekday and Saturday schedules have been adjusted.
- Buses will arrive at Martin Way and Carpenter Road (eastbound) one minute earlier during the afternoons.
- Buses will arrive at Martin Way and Carpenter Road (westbound) one minute later in the mornings and two minutes earlier in the afternoons.
- Buses will arrive at Martin Way and Marvin Road, two to four minutes earlier depending on the time of day.
- Buses will arrive at Orion Drive and Willamette Drive four to seven minutes earlier, depending on the time of day.
- Buses will arrive at the Lacey Walmart 3 minutes earlier during the afternoons.
- Two new weekday trips will leave the Olympia Transit Center at 6:18 a.m. and 7:18 a.m.
Route 62B
- Four new weekday trips will leave the Olympia Transit Center at 6 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 7 a.m., and 7:30 a.m.; the current 6:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. trips will be discontinued.
- Buses will arrive at Martin Way and Pattison Street (westbound) on the Saturday afternoons 3 minutes earlier.
Route 68
- Buses will depart all timepoints seven minutes earlier in the morning and seven minutes later in the afternoon.
- The 7:01 a.m. weekday departure from Lacey Transit Center will leave 12 minutes earlier.
Route 612 – Buses will depart the Tacoma Dome Station from Bay G rather than Bay C.
