Next Thursday, September 3, the Universal Health Care Commission is meeting with Washington advocacy groups focused on creating a universal health care system.
Participating groups include:
- Health Care for All – Washington
- Northwest Health Law Advocates
- Washington Community Action Network
- Whole Washington
During this advocates roundtable, we’ll exchange responses to submitted questions. We’re looking forward to digging into burning questions on how we might finance a universal system.
The meeting will continue with regular commission business, including:
- Potential vote on ways to pay providers in a universal system
- Initial discussions about enrollment, infrastructure, and governance
