New opportunities for rural health transformation
The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program team at Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) is pleased to announce two requests for applications (RFAs).
One falls under Initiative 4: adopt technology and data solutions to enable health improvements. This RFA is for Activity 4.2—a provider technology fund.
The other is under Initiative 6: Expand and sustain Washington’s rural health system. This RFA is for Activity 6.4—a workforce incentive program for opioid treatment programs.
The posted documents on HCA’s bids and contracts page contain all the official details of these RFAs. This page is the only official medium of communication. It has the most up-to-date info and requirements for these RFAs.
Send applications for funding and questions about the procurement process to only the RFA coordinator. Any other communication about these RFAs will be considered unofficial and non-binding on HCA.
For non-RFA questions, reach out to the HCA RHT team.
We’ve been updating you on the RHT Program because of your interest in other HCA work. If you haven’t signed up yet, subscribe to receive future updates on Washington’s RHT Program.
In this first year, CMS awarded Washington state about $181 million. These funds will support the hospitals, clinics, and providers that rural communities rely on every day.
