Earlier this week, we notified you that Regence and MultiCare signed a new provider network agreement on June 2 for providers in Grays Harbor, Thurston, and Yakima counties. Services that members received since May 10, 2026, will be treated as in-network, meaning benefits will apply as if no interruption in network status occurred.
Regence will mail a letter to members indicating the new agreement is in effect, However, some members are still receiving undated letters from MultiCare that state no agreement exists – such letters were mailed before the parties reached a new agreement on June 2.
If your employees ask about the status of the Regence and MultiCare contract, please direct them to our website announcement. We have also updated the pink alert box on our webpages clarifying the timing of MultiCare’s letter.
