The Primary Care Advisory Committee of the Health Care Cost Transparency Board (Cost Board) meets on Thursday, April 23. Our topics will include:
- Cost Board updates and other state agency announcements
- Market oversight and primary care
- Cost driver data
- Workforce development
For our hybrid meeting, we’re moving from Zoom to Teams. We'll take some time to familiarize you with the new platform in the meeting. Read this Teams Meeting Quick Start Manual to learn more.

This meeting and all future Cost Board meetings will be hybrid meetings. This means attendees may either:
- Log into the Teams meeting
- Attend in person to view and participate in the Teams meeting at HCA

The Cost Board is responsible for reducing the state's health care cost growth by:
- Determining the state's total health care expenditures
- Identifying cost trends and cost drivers in the health care system
- Setting a health care cost growth benchmark for providers and payers
- Reporting annually to the Legislature, including providing recommendations for lowering health care costs
