Cost Board's Primary Care Advisory Committee meets Thursday

The Primary Care Advisory Committee of the Health Care Cost Transparency Board (Cost Board) meets on Thursday, April 23. Our topics will include:

Cost Board updates and other state agency announcements
Market oversight and primary care
Cost driver data
Workforce development

What’s the Health Care Cost Transparency Board?

The Cost Board is responsible for reducing the state's health care cost growth by:

Determining the state's total health care expenditures
Identifying cost trends and cost drivers in the health care system
Setting a health care cost growth benchmark for providers and payers
Reporting annually to the Legislature, including providing recommendations for lowering health care costs
