The Health Care Cost Transparency Board (Cost Board) has made several recent changes to its advisory committee meetings:
- Separated the joint meetings of the Health Care Stakeholder Advisory Committee and the Data Issues Advisory Committee, based on your feedback, to ensure sufficient time for detailed discussion.
- Adjusted the meeting dates for the Nominating Committee and the Primary Care Advisory Committee.

- Thursday, June 23 from 2–4 p.m.
- Thursday, October 8 from 2–4 p.m.
Health Care Stakeholder Advisory Committee
- Thursday, August 27 from 2–4 p.m.
Nominating Committee

- Thursday, October 1 from 9–10 a.m.
Primary Care Advisory Committee
- Thursday, April 23 from 2–4 p.m.

The Cost Board is responsible for reducing the state's health care cost growth by:
- Determining the state's total health care expenditures
- Identifying cost trends and cost drivers in the health care system
- Setting a health care cost growth benchmark for providers and payers
- Reporting annually to the Legislature, including providing recommendations for lowering health care costs
