On Monday, March 16, Kaiser Permanente of Washington (KPWA) sent notification letters to 271 PEBB members who recently received primary or walk-in care at Optum Care Washington, mainly in Snohomish County. These mailings state that primary care and walk-in visits will no longer be in network at Optum Care Washington clinics, starting May 1, 2026.
Members will be redirected to KPWA facilities or other in-network providers. Specialist care will still be available at Optum Care Washington for these members.
The mailing includes information on ways members can receive same-day care in person, online, or by phone, including an expanded number of same-day appointments at the Kaiser Permanente Everett Medical Center, starting May 1.
