Next month, we’re holding a webinar on the Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program. We’ll cover the background, our current work, and next steps in the RHT Program, including future requests for proposal (RFP) opportunities.

Contractors and businesses, this webinar will hold special interest for you. We’ll hold several RFPs this year, and this webinar will cover what those opportunities will look like. We’ll also highlight how to use Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS) to register and bid for those opportunities.

Under H.R. 1, the federal government offers $50 billion funding to help improve rural health care across the country. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) administers the RHT Program.

The RHT Program offers an opportunity for Washington state to support health care transformation and meet the unique needs of rural communities.
