CORRECTION: Benefits 24/7 reports and upcoming spousal surcharge mailing for employees

Benefits 24/7 reports and upcoming spousal surcharge mailing for employees

Benefits Administrators can use the new "Benefit Election Changes" report in Benefits 24/7 to view upcoming changes employees made during Open Enrollment.

Additionally, spousal premium surcharge grace letters will be mailed December 5.

View new Benefit Election Changes report

To view upcoming changes employees made during Open Enrollment, log into Benefits 24/7 and select the "Reports" tile. Select "Benefit Election Changes" from the drop-down menu, then enter a date range of 01/01/2026 to 01/01/2026. The report will indicate changes effective for 2026.

If you find the report difficult to view within Benefits 24/7, you can download it as an Excel file, which allows for easier sorting and viewing.

Spousal premium surcharge letters mailing to SEBB employees on December 5

SEBB employees who are covering a spouse or state-registered domestic partner and did not attest to the spousal premium surcharge by November 24 will be sent a letter informing them of a grace period. SEBB employees will have until December 31 to attest to the spousal premium surcharge. If they do not attest, or do not qualify for an exemption, they will be charged a $50 premium surcharge each month starting in January 2026.

To help you determine which employees need to attest, you can view the Spousal Re-attestation Report in Benefits 24/7. The report can be accessed using the "Reports" tile. When asked to include those with defaulted attestations for the upcoming OE effective year, select “yes."

Reminder: Employees no longer have access to the Open Enrollment (OE) wizard in Benefits 24/7, so in order to update their attestation they must submit the 2026 SEBB Premium Surcharge Attestation Change Form. While BAs still have access to the OE Wizard in Benefits 24/7, you won’t be able to update spousal attestations. When you receive completed forms, promptly send them to the Outreach and Training (O&T) unit via HCA Support.
