New ProviderOne updates to the prior authorization screens
New expedite button
This button is only for requests that need to be processed quickly because the member’s health, life, or ability to regain function is at risk. If a request does not meet this definition, the request will not be expedited.
The Health Care Authority (HCA) does not expedite requests because of scheduling needs. Appropriate use of this button is extremely important to avoid delays in processing prior authorization requests.
New field for phone and fax number
There is a new field to enter the provider phone and fax number when submitting requests through the ProviderOne Provider portal.
Ability to upload multiple documents
Multiple documents up to 50 MB per file may be uploaded from the same file location with a combined maximum of 150 MB.
