Here are updates on HCA’s priorities and progress to stabilize the Benefits 24/7 platform for PEBB and SEBB employees. Our intention is to keep you informed on identified issues, how we’re prioritizing them, and when they’re addressed.
The list below does not include all identified issues, but several that we are prioritizing based on their impact on members’ enrollment.

Issues that have been addressed
After open enrollment functionality went live on October 27, 2025, HCA staff closely monitored Benefits 24/7. The team identified and developed, tested, and released fixes for several issues to help ensure open enrollment ran smoothly. Some of the issues identified and addressed included:
-
Erroneous tobacco attestation end dates were used. Tobacco attestation end dates were erroneously changed when an individual waived medical coverage. This impacted a little over 3,000 accounts. The issue was resolved and the accounts were fixed.
-
Current plan end dates erroneously changed when making plan changes and returning to original plan during open enrollment. When a user changed their current plan in the open enrollment screens, then changed it back, the system incorrectly made a change to the original plan’s end date. This impacted medical, dental, and vision plans for both PEBB and SEBB. The issue was identified and addressed and all impacted accounts were returned to original plan status and end date.
-
Declined LTD coverage was not saving. When a user declined long-term disability (LTD) insurance, it was not saving consistently. This was fixed so that this action saves consistently.
-
Wellness incentive inadvertently removed. A small number of PEBB accounts inadvertently had their prior years’ wellness incentive removed. This was fixed and these accounts’ wellness incentive information was reinstated.
If you continue to have challenges on an issue that has been addressed, please submit a new ticket to HCA’s Outreach and Training team through HCA Support.
You can access previous updates on the Benefits Administrator website via the pink alert box and under Notices and updates.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we diligently work on resolving these and other issues.
