After receiving over 280 written comments and working for several months, we’re close to finalizing Washington’s application for funding. This webinar will share details about:
- Initiatives and activities Washington will be proposing to support through the RHTP
- How our application aligns with federal expectations
- Next steps for our state

Under H.R. 1, the federal government is offering $50 billion RHTP funding to help improve rural health care across the country. Our agency and partners at the Departments of Health (DOH) and Social and Health Services (DSHS) — in support of the Governor’s Office — are developing Washington state’s RHTP application.
RHTP offers an opportunity for Washington state to support health care transformation and meet the unique needs of rural communities.
