After-Pregnancy Coverage (APC)

APC is a comprehensive Apple Health (Medicaid) benefit available to individuals up to 12 months after a pregnancy ends. APC helps to ensure that individuals continue receiving vital care they need after their pregnancy.

Benefits and services include:

Postpartum follow-up care, including additional health care services at no cost to clients
Dental care
Contraception
Preventive care
Behavioral health
Plus other services covered by Apple Health

Already enrolled in Apple Health?

Clients already enrolled in an Apple Health program may report a change in their pregnancy status at any time. Eligible clients who report a change will begin APC the first day of the month following the date the pregnancy ends.
