The Finance Technical Advisory Committee (FTAC), which supports the Universal Health Care Commission (Universal Commission), meets this Thursday, September 18.
Join us for a review of what the Universal Commission learned about Section 1333 interstate compacts during its last meeting. We'll share how interstate compacts could support states working together.
We'll also have our first discussion about provider reimbursement and participation.
Because the Universal Commission met only last week, we're still working on slides for the upcoming FTAC meeting. We'll share a complete version of the meeting materials after the meeting.

Washington state seeks to establish a universal health care system for all residents, where people have access to affordable, high-quality health care. Senate Bill 5399 (2021) created a Universal Health Care Commission to aid in this effort. The goals of FTAC are to support the Universal Commission and provide guidance and options for the development of a universal health care system, supported by unified financing in Washington state.
Can I provide public comment or testimony?
