This bulletin is being sent by the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) on behalf of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).
Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is currently reviewing a proposed joint venture between Providence and Compassus whereby Compassus will become a 50 percent owner and take over the management of Providence’s home health and home hospice operations in Oregon.
This joint venture (“Providence at Home with Compassus”) has already taken effect in Washington. OHA is conducting a survey to understand how the change in Washington may have impacted Providence’s home health and hospice operations, staff, and services in Washington to date.
|
|
|
OHA is looking to hear from:
- Anyone who is currently working for Providence at Home with Compassus in Washington.
- Anyone who recently (since November 2024) worked for Providence Home Health and Hospice, now Providence at Home with Compassus, in Washington.
The anonymous survey is open until September 30.

If you would like to share your thoughts about the proposed joint venture but are not an employee of Providence or Compassus in Washington, submit a public comment:
Include the word “Compassus” in your comment. Comments will be posted to OHA’s website. Do not include information that you do not want publicly shared.
