We understand that as a benefits administrator, you are likely to receive questions about health care options available to employees once they retire. The HCA website has webpages specifically designed for PEBB retiree insurance, in addition to pages dedicated to employee insurance. We’ve revamped the content under Retirees on HCA’s website to make sure it includes what retirees need.
Starting today, we’ve revised content, added new pages and sections, renamed existing pages and sections, and deleted pages and sections that are no longer needed.
Why?
Retirees have told us they need retiree content to be simpler and easier to find.
We also heard more information is needed for those who are thinking about retiring and preparing to retire. So, we created a new section, Get started, that has step-by-step information, an example timeline, and other resources. Additionally, we created a new page for PEBB Medicare Part D plans that covers how they work, plan drug lists, and Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA, a surcharge added to Medicare Part B and Part D premiums for higher-income enrollees).
Will pages redirect?
Yes. Pages that are renamed, moved, and deleted are redirected to new locations. It is important to update your bookmarks to the new locations. You can view the Retiree website reorganization list to compare the current Retiree page structure with the new page structure.
More retiree planning resources to come
We are also developing a new Planning for retirement folder to help provide more information for those who are thinking about retiring and planning to retire. We will have these folders available for distribution at the open enrollment in-person benefits fairs. The Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) will also start distributing these folders at their upcoming Nearing retirement seminars.
