Virtual meeting: Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The Washington Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) is offering a collaborative meeting for providers throughout the state to discuss CCHBC implementation updates with a primary focus on scope of services and activities (SOSA) as well as the certification questionnaire for CCBHC providers and potential providers.
Participants will be walked through the questionnaire at a high level to socialize structure, intended use, and updated timelines. This meeting is meant to be an ongoing discussion about these topics; future meetings will be scheduled and announced via this method. For questions, reach out to hcaccbhc@hca.wa.gov.
Washington State anticipates selecting up to five Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) for its first certification cohort. Certification will be competitive, and selected clinics will receive provisional certification in October 2025, with full certification effective January 1, 2027. Clinics must be recertified every three years. Future cohorts will be announced as funding allows. Participation is contingent on available federal and state funds.

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) are specially-designated clinics that provide a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use services.
Health care providers who have met the SAMHSA requirements for eligible providers and the criteria to provide all required services may be CCBHCs. A CCBHC must provide service to any individual who presents in their clinic, regardless of ability to pay or insurance.
