Registration is open for the 6th annual Re-Imagining Behavioral Health: Race, Equity & Social Justice (RESJ) Conference. This two-day virtual conference is free to attend. It is designed to empower individuals and teams who want to advance health equity and support diversity and inclusion in behavioral health.
The conference is an opportunity to connect with others and join in a meaningful conversation about:
- Healing racial trauma.
- Dismantling racism.
- Combating systemic racism and social injustices through the lens of mental health and substance use issues.
Continuing education unit (CEU) credits will be available.

- September 26, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The virtual conference platform will be accessible 30 minutes before and after each day's program. This time will provide an opportunity for attendees to connect and network with each other.
Conference organizers
The conference is led by the Behavioral Health Institute at Harborview Medical Center and is funded by the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA). The conference’s collaborative planning committee includes thought leaders and experts in the fields of health equity, race, social justice, and behavioral health throughout Washington State.
