We need your help identifying participants to help improve the Apple Health program

The Health Care Authority (HCA) is forming a Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC). We’re looking for individuals who have lived experience with Apple Health (Medicaid) to help shape the future of Apple Health care and services. We need your help finding people willing to participate and provide advice on Apple Health programs, policies and interactions.

We are looking for clients from all Apple Health programs, including those who receive home and community-based services like personal care and residential services.

Details

Start: July 2025
Time commitment:
- Onboarding: 2-3 hours per month for the first few months
- Ongoing: 1-2 hours every other month
Length of term: One year
Compensation: $57 per hour up to $200 per day
- Paid according to Washington State Stipend Policy (RCW 43.03.220) and subject to available funding
Accessibility:
- Meetings will be held virtually
- Interpreter services can be available upon request
