PEB Board learns about enhancements to long-term disability benefits

On May 15, the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEB Board) met.

The Board learned about an increase to the employer-paid long-term disability (LTD) benefit and a rate decrease for the employee-paid LTD benefit.

The Board also approved two resolutions:

A resolution to remove the deductible for diagnostic and supplemental breast exam coverage for the Uniform Medical Plan (UMP) Consumer-Directed Health Plan (CDHP).
A resolution to auto disenroll a subscriber's dependent from PEBB retiree insurance coverage when the dependent becomes eligible for the employer contribution toward PEBB or SEBB benefits.
