Washington state seeks to establish a universal health care system for all residents, where people have access to affordable, high-quality health care. Senate Bill 5399 (2021) created a Universal Health Care Commission to aid in this effort. The goals of FTAC are to support the Commission and provide guidance and options for the development of a universal health care system, supported by unified financing in Washington state.
