The Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) is sending this bulletin on behalf of the Washington State Department of Health (DOH).
Pharmacists are an emerging partner in sexual health and prevention and can help expand access to underserved populations. Washington state is unique in our ability to recognize pharmacists as a new partner in sexual health and prevention delivery.
This webinar session will be a panel discussion facilitated by Lisa Nelson, Chief Pharmacy Officer from Unity Care Northwest. The panel includes Clinical Pharmacists from Unity Care Northwest in Bellingham and Valley View Health Center.
Learning objectives
Attendees of this webinar will be able to:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the benefits and strategic value of building robust in-house ambulatory pharmacy services within your community health center.

The Building Skills in Sexual Health training series
The Building Skills in Sexual Health webinar series is in its third year of supporting providers and related staff at FQHCs to integrate person-centered sexual and reproductive health care into primary care.
This series is a partnership between The Office of Infectious Disease, the Washington Association for Community Health, and the Mountain West AIDS Education and Training Center (MWAETC).
