Errors with Davis Vision and EyeMed Vision hardware reset date

Dear Benefits Administrators,

Vision hardware allowances for the SEBB vision plans were reset to renew in odd-numbered years beginning January 1, 2025. This reset allows SEBB members who received their vision hardware allowance in 2024 to do so again in 2025. However, we have confirmed that this benefit may not have reset properly for members enrolled in Davis Vision and EyeMed Vision.

Davis Vision and EyeMed Vision are making the necessary programming changes to reset and refresh the vision hardware allowance to be effective January 1, 2025. Once complete, we will send additional communications to Benefit Administrators to confirm this is resolved. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will notify you as soon as the correction process is complete.

This issue does not apply to members enrolled in MetLife Vision.
