Join us for the 2024 Medicaid Transformation Project Public Forum

On Wednesday, December 11, the Health Care Authority (HCA) will host a public forum on the Medicaid Transformation Project (MTP). During this year’s forum, we will:

Provide an overview of MTP and dive deeper into specific initiatives
Share this year’s successes and challenges
Give attendees time to ask questions and share comments

What's MTP?

HCA purchases health care for more than 2 million Washington residents through our Apple Health program. MTP is Washington’s Section 1115 Medicaid demonstration waiver, which is an agreement between our state and the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). MTP allows our state to develop innovative projects, activities, and services that improve Apple Health.
