Joint Legislative and Executive Committee on Behavioral Health (JLECBH) meeting on November 19

In 2023, Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill (ESSB) 5187 established the Joint Legislative and Executive Committee on Behavioral Health (JLECBH) to identify key strategies and actions to improve access to behavioral health services.

The committee’s purpose is to consider current state-level behavioral health efforts, identify projected needs and gaps, and develop a five-year plan that identifies actionable, strategic priorities to improve prevention and access to behavioral health services and meet future needs.
