Public comment is now open for this year’s Health Care Cost Transparency Board (Cost Board) legislative report. This draft report outlines:
- The work of the Cost Board and its advisory committees since 2023
- Recommendations for reducing health care expenditures
- Health care system spending trends
- And more
Public comment is open from November 4–18, 2024.

How to view the draft report
This report is not yet final, and specific sections of the report are subject to change. These sections include the market oversight recommendations (pages 13-14), the Disease Expenditure Report (Appendix B), and Best Practices Report (Appendix C). The Cost Board will be reviewing these recommendations and materials at its November 7 meeting.
How we’ll use your feedback
Public comment is a crucial part of the Cost Board’s work. Feedback we receive will inform the final version of this legislative report and future reports and presentations.

You can share general feedback about the report or on specific sections. We recommend copy/pasting content from the report into the email—and sharing your input—so we know what part of the report to address.
