Teen Health Hub

The Teen Health Hub, a collaboration between the Department of Health (DOH) and the Youth Advisory Council (YAC), has added new resources including a full Spanish translation of the site and articles.

New Teen Health Hub resources

Teen Health Hub WA is now available in Spanish at doh.wa.gov/es/teenhealthhub.
How-to videos that cover basic health care navigation like how to schedule a doctor's appointment and are also available in Spanish. More on the way!
An FAQ about Emergency Contraception focused on questions young people have, also available in Spanish.
Minor consent and confidentiality resources:

For teens and young adults: A fact sheet about teen privacy and health care, also available Spanish.
For youth-serving health care providers and professionals: A Sparks Training from the Adolescent Health Initiative to help increase knowledge and understanding about WA minor consent laws and their application.
