Thursday, July 25
The Health Care Authority (HCA) will host a doulas community meeting via Zoom on Thursday, July 25 from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
The meeting will include:
- Opportunity to provide feedback on draft language for the statewide recommendations for doulas and doula services in Washington. The plan is for this statewide recommendation to be supported, signed, and released by HCA and the Department of Health (DOH).
- Review and provide feedback on draft language for the doula WAC (rules).
The draft WAC language will be sent via GovDelivery bulletin ahead of time.
This meeting does not replace the public hearing/comment period required as part of the formal rulemaking process outlined in Chapter 34.05 RCW. This meeting is in addition to that process and there will be additional opportunities to provide feedback on the draft WAC.
If you would like to participate in the decision to adopt the new rule and formulation of the proposed rule before publication, contact Jason Crabbe.
