Help promote Apple Health for Workers with Disabilities!

The Health Care Authority (HCA) and Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) partnered to develop an outreach campaign to raise awareness for the Apple Health for Workers with Disabilities program (also referred to as HWD).

The outreach campaign provides an overview of the program, benefits and services including behavioral health, and addresses misconceptions about
working with disabilities.

Outreach toolkit

Communications materials in the toolkit include:

Videos,
Handouts,
Social media images and text,
Key messages, and
Specific materials for Native people.

This campaign launched May 6, 2024 and the materials can be used ongoing. Participation during the first three months will help us spread the word!

About Apple Health for Workers with Disabilities

Apple Health for Workers with Disabilities provides coverage to individuals with blindness or another disability who have earned income and purchase health care coverage based on a sliding income scale. This program has no asset test and no upper income limit.
