On Thursday, February 29, 2024, the Health Care Cost Transparency Board’s Advisory Committee on Primary Care will meet to discuss:
- Workforce development (committee members will be voting whether to bring these policy recommendations to the Cost Board)
- Aligning primary care and public health to advance prevention and whole person care in Washington
- Multi-payer collaborative alignment
- Primary Care Transformation Model

This committee provides expert advice to the board to develop recommendations related to the state’s 12 percent primary care spending target. The committee also recommends a definition of primary care and standards for reporting and measuring claims- and non-claims-based spending to the board.
