Cost Board’s Advisory Committee on Primary Care to meet tomorrow

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, the Health Care Cost Transparency Board’s Advisory Committee on Primary Care will meet to discuss:

Workforce development (committee members will be voting whether to bring these policy recommendations to the Cost Board)
Aligning primary care and public health to advance prevention and whole person care in Washington
Multi-payer collaborative alignment
Primary Care Transformation Model

What’s the Advisory Committee on Primary Care?

This committee provides expert advice to the board to develop recommendations related to the state’s 12 percent primary care spending target. The committee also recommends a definition of primary care and standards for reporting and measuring claims- and non-claims-based spending to the board.
