The Pharmacy Point of Sale (POS) Replacement Project is on track to go live Saturday, April 27. This is one day earlier than previously shared.
This will allow pharmacies who operate on the weekend to begin sending claims. We are working to minimize the disruption to pharmacy business hours as much as possible.

We are planning to begin testing with pharmacies starting February 20 to verify connections and responses. We are still accepting volunteer pharmacies, specifically those who use Change Health, QS1, or Relay Health as switch vendors.
Email the Pharmacy POS Replacement Project if you are interested in testing pharmacy claims adjudication. Provide a name, email address, and NPI in your email for us to contact.
Providers can expect the following to change when the new system goes live:
- Payer sheet specification requirements (coming late February)
- Expedited authorization codes (coming late February)
- The prescription drug program billing guide (coming early April)
- A new pharmacy authorization fax number (to be shared days before go live)
- Apple Health Preferred Drug List (AHPDL) classes and drug statuses (no later than April 1)
