On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, the Health Care Cost Transparency Board’s Advisory Committee on Primary Care will meet to discuss:

Making Care Primary: next steps and implications
Policies and strategies to reach the 12% primary care expenditure target
Presentations on workforce development.

What’s the Advisory Committee on Primary Care?

This committee provides expert advice to the board to develop recommendations related to the state’s 12 percent primary care spending target. The committee also recommends a definition of primary care and standards for reporting and measuring claims- and non-claims-based spending to the board.
