Request for Information: Pregnant and Parenting Individuals Substance Use Disorder Residential Treatment Facility due December 20, 2023

Washington State Health Care Authority has posted a Request for Information (RFI) seeking information in the prospective procurement and implementation of a 16-bed in-patient Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) in Grays Harbor County, for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) specializing in treating Pregnant and Parenting Individuals (PPI) and their children, using a family preservation model.

With the RFI, HCA hopes to meet the following goals:

Inform the provider community on a prospective competitive procurement; and
To learn the following from the provider community:
- Are there existing providers with facilities in Grays Harbor County providing similar services?
- Are there outpatient providers in Grays Harbor County interested in operating an in-patient 16 bed RTF serving PPI with their children?
- Are there current providers in Washington State interested in operating an RTF serving PPI and their children, in Grays Harbor County?
- Do the interested providers currently hold a license as an RTF provider?
- Do potential foreseen risks and challenges exist? If so, what are they?
