Attend the Universal Health Care Commission's October meeting

On Thursday, October 12, the Universal Health Care Commission (UHCC) will meet on Zoom. During this meeting, the UHCC will discuss:

Finance Technical Advisory Committee's (FTAC) guidance on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA)
Vote to adopt the 2023 report to the Legislature
Begin planning for 2024 and continue transitional solutions discussion

This meeting and all future UHCC meetings will be hybrid meetings. This means attendees can either:

Log into the Zoom meeting
Attend in person to view and participate in the Zoom meeting at the Health Care Authority (HCA)

What's the UHCC?

Washington State seeks to establish a universal health care system for all residents, where people have access to affordable, high-quality health care. SB 5399 passed during the 2021 legislative session, creating a Universal Health Care Commission to aid in this effort.
