On Thursday, September 28, 2023, the Health Care Cost Transparency Board’s Advisory Committee on Primary Care will meet to discuss:

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Making Care Primary (MCP) initiative
Primary care data collection and reporting

This meeting and all future committee meetings will be hybrid meetings. This means attendees may either

What’s the Advisory Committee on Primary Care?

This committee provides expert advice to the board to develop recommendations related to the state’s 12 percent primary care spending target. The committee also recommends a definition of primary care and standards for reporting and measuring claims- and non-claims-based spending to the board.
