On Thursday, August 31, 2023, the Health Care Cost Transparency Board’s Advisory Committee on Primary Care will meet to discuss:
- Primary care payment reform strategies in Oregon
- Primary care payment policy context
- United Healthcare’s plan perspective reaching the primary care spending target in Rhode Island
This meeting and all future committee meetings will be hybrid meetings. This means attendees may either:
- Log into the Zoom meeting
- Attend in person to view and participate in the Zoom meeting at the Health Care Authority (HCA)

This committee provides expert advice to the Health Care Cost Transparency Board to develop recommendations related to the state’s 12 percent primary care spending target. The committee also recommends a definition of primary care and standards for reporting and measuring claims- and non-claims-based spending to the board.
