Starting Monday, September 11, 2023, the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) will only honor requests to cover arrears at $1,500 or less via the Exception to Policy (ETP) request process due to funding limitations. When requesting coverage for arrears, a ledger must be sent at the time of the Exception to Policy (ETP) request.
If seeking resources for covering arrears, visit findhelp.org and Washington 211.
If you have questions or feedback regarding this change, please contact FCS Program Administrator Scott Tankersley at scott.tankersley@hca.wa.gov.
Over the next few months, Washington state’s Foundational Community Supports (FCS) will be sending out a brief survey to gather your input on the learning communities that Rutgers University faculty have facilitated over the past five years. Specifically, we are looking for your feedback on the Landlord Outreach, Buried in Treasures, Job Developers, Supported Employment Supervisors and Supportive Housing Supervisors learning communities.
Our goal with this study is to examine the impact of utilizing learning communities to improve behavioral health providers' skills and knowledge in Supported Employment (SE) and Supportive Housing (SH) services within our FCS services.
We are hoping you will support us in this important endeavor so please be on the lookout for an upcoming survey!
If you would like additional information about this study, please contact Nora Barrett at baretnm@shp.rutgers.edu
