Cost Board's Advisory Committee on Primary Care to meet next Wednesday

On Wednesday, June 28, the Advisory Committee on Primary Care will meet to discuss:

Committee's charge to identify data collection barriers and propose solutions
Finalization of primary care codes
Preparation for July primary care committee meeting and discussion of policy recommendation framework

This meeting and all future committee meetings will be hybrid meetings. This means attendees may either:

Log into the Zoom meeting
Attend in person to view and participate in the Zoom meeting at the Health Care Authority (HCA)

What’s the Advisory Committee on Primary Care?

This committee provides expert advice to the board to develop recommendations related to the state’s 12 percent primary care spending target. The committee also recommends a definition of primary care and standards for reporting and measuring claims- and non-claims-based spending to the board.
