MTP Renewal

On June 30, 2023, CMS renewed MTP for another five years, beginning on July 1, 2023. By renewing MTP, our state can continue to develop innovative projects, activities, and services that improve Apple Health. In the renewal application, multiple changes to our existing MTP programs, as well as new changes, were proposed. CMS approved most of these changes.

The FCS team recently attended the 2023 Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) Summit in Philadelphia, PA. FCS was featured in two of this year’s conference sessions:

  • At the Intersection of Affordable Housing and Behavioral Health: Foundational Community Supports
  • Creating Opportunities to Receive and Implement Tenant Feedback

The FCS team is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share the supported employment and supportive housing work being done across Washington at the 2023 CSH Summit.

Survey: Supportive Housing Staff Intention to Address Sexual Health

People living with serious mental illnesses (SMI) such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression experience more sexual health challenges than people without SMIs. These challenges can lead to significant physical and emotional distress, illness, and death. Despite this increased risk, individuals with SMI are less likely to receive support for their sexual health needs.

This study is aimed at exploring supportive housing provider attitudes and beliefs about discussing and addressing sexual health with service recipients (clients). The information you provide will be analyzed and results will inform professional training and education in the promotion of sexual health for service participants by supportive housing providers.

Individuals who participate in this study may elect to receive a $10 gift card for their time. This can be done by continuing to a separate compensation page following survey completion.

If you would like to participate in the study, or have questions, please contact Dawn Reinhardtwood.
