New base funding rate effective July 1, 2023
The new employer base funding rate changes from $1,130 to $1,145 per employee per month on July 1 for fiscal year 2023-2024. The employer bas funding rate is the rate the employer pays each month if an employee waives medical. The new rate is effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
The rate change is only for employer groups participating in PEBB under the full benefits package composite rate structure. Employer groups participating in PEBB benefits under the tiered rate structure or in medical only can disregard this message. Tiered rates will change on January 1, 2024.
The rate letters are posted on BA website Rates page under participating employer group rates.
