New instructional videos and help accessing Benefits 24/7 through SAW

Dear Benefits Administrators,

Instructional videos for the fourth round of Benefits 24/7 training environment sessions are available. These videos are posted to the Training materials and recordings webpage and are designed to serve as the primary training for administering benefits in the new program. 

  • Transferring an employee from a PEBB employer offering full-benefits to another PEBB employer offering full-benefits
  • Terminate or end subscriber eligibility
  • Rehire/restore subscriber eligibility

Benefits 24/7 training environment

The Benefits 24/7 training environment is available for benefits administrators (BAs) to get hands-on experience in the system at your convenience. By accessing the training environment, you can practice what you've learned in the instructional videos:

  • Add a newly eligible subscriber/employee
  • Add dependents, including dependent children with a disability and extended dependents
  • Elect benefits for an employee and their dependents
  • Complete the dependent verification process
  • Enter and verify special open enrollment requests
  • Transfer an employee
  • Terminate benefits or end eligibility
  • Restore eligibility
  • Manage BA access for Benefits 24/7
  • Manage employer contacts

Need help accessing the Benefits 24/7 training environment?

If you’re having trouble logging in to the training environment, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • We do not have your information loaded into the training environment, and/or
  • You may need to create a separate SAW account if you’re a BA who needs to access the training environment through the “external admin” link.

In order for us to add your information into the training environment, please send an HCA Support ticket to us using the "Request Training" category. Be sure to include your first and last name, agency name and agency/subagency number, and email address in the body of your message.

If you’re a BA who needs to access the training environment using the “external admin” link, you will need to create a separate SAW account specifically for the purpose of accessing the training environment. We’ve developed a short illustrative guide outlining the steps to create a new SAW account and we’ve updated the "Logging in to Benefits 24/7" video to reflect these changes.
