Hello,

On May 8, Pay1, the current system used by payroll and benefits staff to manage Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) accounts, will no longer be available. It will be replaced by Benefits 24/7. In addition, PEBB My Account will not be accessible once Benefits 24/7 launches.

The new system uses a modern design that will be easier for benefits administrators (BAs) to use to administer your employees’ benefits. Benefits 24/7 will also allow employees to make most changes to their benefits online, including changing health plans and adding dependents to their accounts, which currently can only be done with paper forms.

A new Benefits 24/7 training series will be available soon for BAs.

As we get closer to the new program’s launch, we are excited to announce that we will be producing online training videos for you to view. The series will walk you through the details of administering benefits in the program and will be produced and released on a weekly basis. We will be sending additional announcements whenever a new video is released.

The first video will be released around March 24th and will cover how to log into the program. A second video will be released soon after, providing a review of the benefits administrator dashboard in Benefits 24/7. As we near the launch date, we will be sharing training videos covering more advanced topics, such as how to manage employee benefits, how to verify dependents and special open enrollment events (SOEs).

Additionally, we are preparing a Benefits 24/7 training environment where BAs will be able to try out what they learned from the videos. More info on when that environment will be available is coming. BAs who currently have access to Pay1 will be the first ones added to the training environment. BAs who don’t have access to Pay1 will need to send us information so we can add them (details on what info we need still to come).

We trust that these videos will be helpful to you as you prepare to administer employee benefits in the new Benefits 24/7 online enrollment program.
