More options and savings with Cascade Care plans — available exclusively from Washington Healthplanfinder
Plans on the individual market provide high-quality, low-cost care
We are sending this announcement on behalf of our partners at Washington Healthplanfinder.
Open enrollment is here for those who purchase health care coverage on the individual market. You can enroll in a health or dental plan through Washington Healthplanfinder—Washington’s insurance marketplace—through January 15, 2023. Many people who do not have insurance can get covered at little to no cost through Washington Healthplanfinder.
Save more with Cascade Care and Cascade Select plans
Cascade Care plans cover more services before meeting the deductible, including primary care visits, mental health services, and generic drugs.
New this year is Cascade Care Savings, a state-funded premium assistance program available to individuals and families earning up to 250 percent of the federal poverty limit—generally low-wage and part-time workers. With Cascade Care Savings, premiums could be less than $10 a month or as low as $0.
Cascade Select is the state’s public option plan and has the same standard benefit design as Cascade Care plans, along with additional quality and value requirements.
For plan year 2023, Cascade Select plans:
- Are the lowest-cost Silver premium offered on the Exchange in 25 counties.
- Have the average premium rate decreased by three percent. Non-Cascade Select Exchange health plans have average rate increases of more than eight percent.
When can I enroll?
Enrollment is open now through January 15, 2023, with coverage beginning February 1, 2023. Visit Washington Healthplanfinder to find the right plan for you.
